Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FR-Solutions ("we") handles information in its mobile apps — IELTS Writing, IELTS Reading and English Grammar — and on the website fr-solutions.app.

Summary

  • The apps have no accounts and we do not run servers that collect your study data.
  • Your answers, notes, bookmarks, progress and settings are stored on your device.
  • The apps show ads through Google AdMob, which collects device information such as the advertising ID. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first.
  • Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.

Information stored on your device

The apps store what you create and choose while studying — for example practice answers, self-assessment scores, notes, bookmarks, completed items, streaks and settings. This information stays on your device. We cannot see it.

If Android backup is turned on, Android may include this information in your Google backup and restore it to a new device. Backup is controlled by your device and Google account settings.

Advertising

The apps use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to show ads. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

  • the device advertising ID and other device identifiers,
  • IP address, device and app information,
  • ad interactions such as views and clicks.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other regions where consent is required, the app asks for your choice through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown. In IELTS Writing you can change this choice at any time under More › All settings › Privacy options, when that option is shown in your region.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your Android settings.

Purchases

IELTS Writing offers a one-time purchase that removes ads. Payment is processed by Google Play under Google's terms. We receive confirmation of the purchase so the app can remove ads and restore your purchase; we do not receive your card or payment details.

Ratings and reviews

The apps may ask you to rate them using Google Play's in-app review dialog. Google handles the review; we only see what Google Play shows publicly.

Website

fr-solutions.app is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors use it, for example which pages are viewed. Google Analytics processes your IP address and device and browser information on behalf of FR-Solutions. Advertising features and ad personalisation are turned off.

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Until then, or if you click Decline, Google Analytics receives only cookieless measurement signals.
  • Elsewhere, analytics cookies are used unless you click Decline.

Children

The apps are rated for general audiences and are intended for people preparing for language exams. They are not directed at children under 13.

Deleting your data

Because your study data is stored on your device, you control it:

  • In IELTS Writing, open More › All settings › Your data to clear saved items, completed items or notes.
  • To remove all app data, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
